Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We then went out to the dive site where Mike delivered a detailed and confident dive brief, perfectly tailored for me as a newbie to Maltese diving but an otherwise experienced diver. Mike’s dive management throughout the dive was spot on and he was a great dive buddy. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Luckily I also got the chance to join a relaxing trip to Gozo led by Marcos, it was worth the early rise. Communication beforehand via email also was fast, very happy to have chose Buddies Dive Cove.

Being under water and swimming through the fish is the best feeling, and buddies diving cove are the best team to take you through it. We would go again and again if we could.

There is nothing we would change about our time with them.

We did the Discover Scuba ( the theory is quick and easy!!) and added some extra dives so we could do as much as we possibly could. We would have loved to do a PADI open water but didn’t have the 6 hours for the theory in the time we were there.

  Diving in November – A good option – This was the first time I had been to Malta in November, normally I go more in peak season. I had also been in May this year. For any divers… read more considering when to go these were both great options. The water was a little colder than peak season, at around 22-23 degrees Celsius, but Buddies had all the gear for this. Overall I found it better than constantly trying to hide from a scorching sun or temperatures at 30 degrees C or more. There may be a risk of lost days due to weather but that did not occur on my trip. There were always alternative dive locations. For tourist days it was also more comfortable to walk around.
As always diving with the team at Buddies was great. Good organisation and selection of dive sites. Thanks to everyone there.

We had ample surface intervals between dives to ensure safety and allow time to relax and prepare for the next dive.
